Claude Létourneau, President & CEO

Claude Létourneau brings over 20 years of senior level management experience in international joint ventures and venture capital. Key areas of expertise include the identification and growth of new business opportunities, overall management and strategic leadership of high-growth companies, start-up of high-tech companies, and management of new technology-based ventures in the energy, manufacturing, metallurgical, and chemical processing industries. He is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor.

Previously, Claude served as interim senior executive for several high-tech startups and fast growing companies. He was Vice Chairman of iPower Technologies Inc., a US manufacturer of small, on-site power generation systems. He was the President & CEO of Kontron Communications Inc. (KBC - DAX), a German electronic design and manufacturing company that provides general-purpose CPU boards and system-level solutions to telecom equipment manufacturers. He was also the founding President & CEO of Avestor Inc., a Canadian company specializing in the development of lithium polymer battery technology for automotive and telecommunications applications. Claude also held various key positions in business development and project management at SNC-Lavalin, an international engineering & construction company.

Claude holds both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering from Université Laval (Québec,QC).
