Dehydration plants with Siftek™
Vaperma has developed a dehydration plant option for the dehydration of hydrous alcohol (93%) into anhydrous ethanol. Siftek™ membrane system advantageously replaces rectification column (Column B) as well as molecular sieves or cyclohexane.
As opposed to conventional technologies, Siftek™ membrane system results in substantial energy savings for the production of anhydrous ethanol. Overall plant energy consumption is optimized.
